I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I live with my husband, baby son, our cat, and an African Grey Parrot who is the voice of authority in our home. I am a nurse, having worked the gamut from delivering babies, family medicine, to the emergency department.

Aside from my day job, I’ve always had a passion for writing. This love has been with me since I was a child who used to hide my notebooks of stories and comic doodles under the bed and wrote fanfics and original fiction online. My debut novel is derived from a story I wrote on FictionPress almost 18 years ago.

In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding, reading, manga and anime, video games, and spending time outdoors with my husband. I also have a first degree black belt in Tae kwon do and Filipino Martial arts.

I hope to publish the first installment of my YA sci-fi series at the start of 2022. As much as I enjoy writing, I would be content simply knowing that one of my stories has left a lasting impression on my readers.

“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity…” – Pema Chödrön
